Box Mod and Tank or Pod System?

Image
A lot of people come into the vape shop nowadays looking for a new device or unit to run and they always find themselves confused at the new options of pod systems and wonder if this can be the right fit for them. Pod systems are smaller, slimmer, packing usually a smaller internal battery or 18650 external battery with the capabilities on many devices not exceeding 40w. Pod systems are a little more convenient for someone that's on the go and wants something easier to conceal, more inconspicuous on the vapor output, and comfortable enough to carry into the pocket. Personally I've used both of these styles and like to use them both, it just depends on what personally you prefer. I have run way to many pod systems to list here, but comparatively I still think I like my box mod. The larger lung filling hit I receive off of my box mod creates a sizable cloud, but allows me to run much lower nicotine levels at higher wattages. Pod systems users can run the same juice, but typi...

Favorite Styles of Vape Juices

Image
Everyone has a flavor preference when it comes to e-liquid. I've encountered thousands of customers over the years and have seen a myriad of palettes and pickiness but we are always able to help a customer leave satisfied with a delicious flavor of their choosing. There are a lot of different flavor types on the market: Fruity flavors, dessert style savory flavors, tobaccos, drinks, custards, candies, mints, menthols, almost anything edible that you can think of can be turned into a vape juice. Vape juices rely on the use of food grade flavoring extracts safe for edible consumption, the same flavorings and concentrates that are used in a lot of todays popular candy in your local shops and convenience stores. The extract companies provide an almost unlimited amount of flavoring extracts, allowing for a hugely diverse market when it comes to e-liquid manufacturing. A lot of vapers typically find one of these flavor categories to be their favorite...

Using Portable Pod System Devices

Image
Pod System devices have become a popular new wave in the vaping industry. Pod systems work predominately with higher concentrations of nicotine at lower wattages in smaller, compact devices that can easily slide into a pocket. The salt nicotine e-liquids that are ran in these devices are usually found in 20mg-50mg, also included with higher concentrations of flavoring for better satisfaction with most devices firing under 25w. I personally use a few pod system devices myself, I've used the Lost Vape Lyra, Smok Nord, Lost Vape Orion, Smok Novo 2 and the Aspire AVP, as well as a slew of other devices including my current favorite the SnowWolf Wocket. Five of these devices are viewable in their respective order in the image at the top of this post. ( SnowWolf Wocket not listed ) A lot of pod systems currently on the market include variable wattages or adjustable LCD screens for fine tuning your draw, packing a versatile range of standard, ceramic, and mesh coils you can try out....

Social Distancing and Vape Shops

Image
Social Distancing and Vape Shops With the coronavirus, a lot of vape shops in the industry have had to close their doors and wait patiently through the harsh and turbulent waves of economic repercussions store owners had to face with having to abruptly close their businesses. Unfortunately the clashing chords of coronavirus has already claimed some local smaller vape shops for good, with other mom and pop style stores facing the same music. A lot of vapor stores were ruled “unessential”, including the one I manage myself where we had to close our doors for a month. As these struggling vapor stores are allowed to slowly open again we must do our part and take responsibility of ourselves and personal health, especially when venturing out into public where you can be potentially exposing yourself and others to harmful bacterias. Vape shops that are opening this month are adhering to strict guidelines by the local health department while also implementing social distancing protoco...

Choosing The Right Nicotine Level

Image
I get asked everyday from new vapers what the right nicotine level is for them to start out at. There are a few variables to consider, the type of device that you're using, and we'll need an idea of your current smoking capacity: How many cigarettes? How many packs? Do you prefer lights, full flavors, or menthols? All of these questions can help point your nearest vape professional in the right direction and guide you to an easy and smooth transition from cigarettes. Cigarettes usually have a standard of 20 to a pack. I have a couple easy rules of thumb: If a smoker is smoking anything less than a pack to a full pack of, from 5-10 cigarettes to a full pack, I recommend starting at a 3mg nicotine as long as are using a sub ohm vaping device. This applies to both lights and lighter smokers of full flavor cigarettes. If you are smoking about a pack or more than a pack on a similar device, than I would recommend you start with a 6mg nicotine, which will satisfy the deeper ...

Picking The Right Juice

Image
Picking the right juice is key to the vaping experience. There are hundreds of juice lines on the market offering a vast and diverse myriad of flavors to suit even the most particular flavor pallet. Personally for me when I quit smoking six years ago, I quit using a flavor known as "Rocket Pop". Rocket Pop tastes just like it sounds, an exquisite blend of red raspberry, lemon citrus, and blueberry just like the red white and blue ice cream popsicle treats. Every vape has their own unique pallet, some new vapers prefer tobacco flavored juices that resemble the classic tobacco taste while others prefer thick desserts and custards, or other vapers like in my case that prefer the nice sweet/sour tangy fruity flavor options. Back in the heydays of in house juice mixing I use to run our juice manufacturing laboratory daily where I've made thousands of bottles of juice in my career. We would offer custom blends, where you could custom pick select recipes to make your own uni...

7,000+ Harmful Chemicals Found In An Average Cigarette

Image
On average your standard E-Juice contains anywhere from 4-6 ingredients: Nicotine, PG, VG, and USDA food-grade flavorings, while the standard analog cigarette is containing over 7,000+ chemicals according to the 2010 Surgeon General report. In some cases these reported chemicals were higher, with some cigarettes containing 7,357 different identifiable properties in a cigarettes chemical composition. These reports are analyzed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(US), National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion(US), and the office of Smoking and Health(US) based in Atlanta, GA. The damages of inhaling tobacco smoke in the human body have been known and reported for years and yet everyday smokers still continue to make the conscious decision of purchasing their usual brand of cigarettes harming themselves while smoking and others in close vicinity due to the dangers of the transference of secondhand smoke. These prevalent dangers can be avoided when ...
