Choosing The Right Nicotine Level

I get asked everyday from new vapers what the right nicotine level is for them to start out at. There are a few variables to consider, the type of device that you're using, and we'll need an idea of your current smoking capacity: How many cigarettes? How many packs? Do you prefer lights, full flavors, or menthols? All of these questions can help point your nearest vape professional in the right direction and guide you to an easy and smooth transition from cigarettes. Cigarettes usually have a standard of 20 to a pack. I have a couple easy rules of thumb: If a smoker is smoking anything less than a pack to a full pack of, from 5-10 cigarettes to a full pack, I recommend starting at a 3mg nicotine as long as are using a sub ohm vaping device. This applies to both lights and lighter smokers of full flavor cigarettes. If you are smoking about a pack or more than a pack on a similar device, than I would recommend you start with a 6mg nicotine, which will satisfy the deeper cravings of a full flavor smoker. A popular new genre and style of systems are pod system mods, which I'll cover in another blog post. Everybody has a different zone of nicotine tolerance, some require more nicotine than others and others less. The most commonly sold e-juice nicotine level is 3mg, and I recommend everyone start with this level on a sub ohm mod that produces a sizable cloud output. The versatility of being able to adapt your e-juice to different levels of nicotine make it easy to fine tune just exactly how much you need for personal satisfaction. You can either lower or raise your nicotine levels if you plan on quitting completely, or raise it up a bit if you've had a stressful week. The vast amount of flavors and adjustable nicotine levels are able to suit any pallet and preference!
